Free from myths
Description
CONTEXT
Through the #SoyLibre campaign, Barranquilla told women that they have support, that they have an organization that accompanies them and to which they can go in case they suffer abuse. On this occasion, the city will enter its "carnival" days, which, although not officially celebrated, may be presented as an opportunity for people to abuse alcohol and possibly increase cases of violence against women.
CHALLENGE
Remind women that there is a Women's Office in Barranquilla, which they can go to if they are experiencing a situation of violence, especially during carnivals.
CONCEPT
The myth around the festivities and alcohol is that it becomes an excuse for excesses, to go too far and to intimidate women to a greater extent. Although this will not have a celebration by the city, many people will have parties or gatherings at home that will involve alcoholic beverages.
THE IDEA
It is to communicate to women that there is no excuse for receiving mistreatment, to justify abuse or normalize actions that threaten their integrity. It is time to free ourselves from myths.
