Agency: VML

In the past, 4GN design conference has been promoted with concepts that were aesthetically sophisticated but didn’t consider the role of design beyond its visual impact. This year, we seized the opportunity to delve deeper into how design can be used to make the world a better place.
2017 was widely regarded as a difficult year with racist problems, social inequity and violence dominating the conversation. The global mood remains tense. Our creative spark happened when we asked ourselves how our industry could help.
Design principles make the world more equitable, orderly and easier to understand. What happens when we apply fundamental design principles to the biggest social problems in the world today? Design reveals ways to right society’s wrongs.
