The Florida Lottery and AOR PPK have launched their latest campaign promoting the new Florida 300X the Cash Scratch-Off, which offers Floridians multiple ways to win and increase their winnings. Pretty much everyone wants to get their hands on these one-of-a-kind winnings — even the gulls!
With a uniquely Florida tone and personality, this creative features a quintessential Sunshine State location, the beach, complete with a familiar beach adversary: seagulls. To pull off their vision for the campaign, PPK’s team used a mix of live and CGI seagulls. The live gulls on set were trained to follow a delicate system to encourage them to specific positions around the ticket on the table. The result is a comedic campaign that highlights the thrill of playing the Florida Lottery, complete with the playfully adversarial element of a “Gull Invaders” game developed by PPK for social, where players can use a bottle of mustard to shoot seagulls out of the sky and keep them from swooping down and carrying the 300X the Cash tickets away.
