Continuing with its aim to make gaming a more inclusive space, Pilsen Callao presents E-nterpreters Season 2, the evolution of its innovative proposal that has helped deaf gamers to translate into signs what other players say verbally during games on Discord, allowing thousands of hearing-impaired gamers to better connect with others in these spaces.

Now for 2023, and again with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), the successful bot E-nterpreters will also read lip movements and gestures of deaf gamers and translate them into voice messages in real time during a game. With this initiative, Pilsen Callao seeks to help more young people who are deaf or have speech difficulties to be included in the world of gaming, since according to the NGO Ditch The Label, 1 in 2 young people around the world have suffered from bullying while playing online.

For this second stage of the campaign, DDB Peru together with Cirsys and Tunche Films incorporated facial recognition technology capable of reading the gestures and lips of deaf players through a webcam, converting their words into a generic voice that allows them to interact with other players without any type of impediment, in real time and at game speed.
