Following the viral success of the previous campaign, Steadfast Stationery is back with their second campaign "Don't Look Up."
In cash-heavy markets like India, checking notes against light remains a common way to verify authenticity, despite being unreliable. Steadfast, a brand known for its office automation products, including currency counting machines with counterfeit detection, set out to challenge this habit.
The film uses dark, unexpected humour to turn a routine action into a gripping narrative. What begins as a casual moment of curiosity, as a goon looks up while checking a note, quickly escalates into an absurd and uncomfortable situation. The humour emerges from the contrast between the trivial trigger and the disproportionate consequences that follow.
By balancing awkwardness, irony and shock, the film keeps the viewer engaged while making the point without overt explanation. The story resolves by returning to the initial moment, before contrasting it with a machine that detects fakes instantly, positioning Steadfast as a smarter alternative.
