Disappear for a little while

Description

Every destination wants to be discovered.

Central Portugal invites you to disappear.

Not to escape life. But to feel it more intensely.

“Disappear for a Little While” transforms this paradox into a striking visual idea: when people become completely immersed in an experience, they literally vanish, leaving nothing behind but their clothes.

Their disappearance is not an absence. It is the ultimate expression of being present.

The campaign began with 17 films, each just 12 seconds long, challenging the conventions of tourism advertising by focusing not simply on what a destination offers, but on what it makes us feel.

Then came an entirely new creative challenge.

How do you turn seventeen 12-second films into one 2-minute, 55-second cinematic story?

No additional filming. No new footage. No conventional compilation. No best-of.

Just the creative reinvention of existing images into a completely new narrative, with its own rhythm, emotional journey and meaning.

A film that transforms individual moments into a universal reflection on our relationship with time, presence and the world around us.

Because some places don’t add more to our lives.

They take away the noise, the urgency, the distractions and everything that prevents us from truly living.

And sometimes, disappearing for a little while is the most powerful way to feel alive.
