Description
CV inVISIBLE — MIDAS
The Insight
Spain has over 450,000 professional truck drivers, yet more than 30,000 driving positions go unfilled. Meanwhile, only around 2% of large-vehicle drivers are women. The problem isn't capability — it's bias. For years, many women in the industry have learned to hide their identity on their résumés — blurring their photo, hiding their name — just to get a chance at an interview.
The Idea
MIDAS created CV VISIBLE, the first platform where women in the transport sector stop hiding and start showing exactly who they are: their names, faces, kilometers driven, years of experience, licenses, and specialties — sent directly to hiring companies in the sector, with no filters and no gatekeeping.
The Proof
To expose the bias driving this invisibility, MIDAS ran a controlled social experiment: two identical résumés — same experience, same qualifications — were sent to the same driving job listings. The only variable changed was gender: Andrea Flores Gil vs. Andrés Flores Gil The results spoke for themselves — Mario's résumé generated significantly more calls and responses than María's, despite zero difference in qualifications. The campaign turns that proof point into the platform's rallying cry: the résumé didn't change. The opportunity did.
The Takeaway
What gets seen, gets hired. What gets made visible, changes. CV VISIBLE turns exposure into opportunity — flipping the old survival strategy (hide to be hired) into a new standard (be seen to be hired).
Tagline: Porque lo que se ve, se puede cambiar → "Because what gets seen, can be changed."
