In 2025, Claro made history in Colombia with a campaign that redefines the power of connectivity in transforming lives. “When the signal of Claro reaches far, people go further” is more than just a tagline, it’s a powerful storytelling platform that highlights the unexpected impact of technology in the most remote communities of the country.
This journey began in El Remanso, a small Indigenous community hidden deep in the Amazonian department of Guainía. Before Claro, reaching the nearest internet connection meant a two hour journey by the river. But everything changed when Claro built an 80 meter tower and connected the local school to the internet with it's programm: "Escuelas Conectadas" that now achieves more than 300 schools around the country and it is opening doors to opportunities by bringing digital access and literacy to communities in Colombia. What happened next was beyond imagination.
The campaign is a testament to how access to a signal can become access to the world. Through emotional storytelling, documentary-style filmmaking, and authentic voices from the community, Claro proved that when you connect people, you don’t just bring them online, you help them leap forward.
This project is part of Claro’s broader mission to close the digital divide in Colombia, having already connected more than 717 rural communities and empowered over 600,000 people with digital tools that change lives.
