Description
KFC Panama, turn horror movie messages into a finger-licking good promo. With ‘’Creepy Finger Codes’’, the brand takes over a horror movie iconic trope and gives Halloween a delicious twist.
There are messages nobody would ever want to find on a wall, mirror or window. Especially, when they’ve been written with the fingers of serial killers or monsters. But this Halloween, KFC Panama gives its viewers a reason to look for them.
‘’Creepy Finger Codes’’ initiative turns the iconic finger-written messages in horror movies, into special KFC deals for the Halloween season. A familia, life-long trope used to warn audiences that something terrible is about to happen, now becomes an invitation to enjoy something delicious.
The idea comes from a simple insight that is uniquely KFC: if there's one brand that can find something appetizing about fingers, it's KFC. is KFC. Its iconic ‘’Finger-licking good’’ slogan creates a natural entrance into the world of horror and allows the brand to own these messages and give them a meaning that no other brand could replicate.
This way, fingers are no longer just a tool to instill fear. They become the middle ground between entertainment, a promo and brand identity. By doing this, KFC takes its most famous promise to one of the least expected places: messages left behind by murderers and monsters.
Because there are plenty terrifying messages written with fingers. But only one brand that could make them finger-licking goog.
