As part of a long-term partnership with AAA game studio Bungie, Kurppa Hosk has been working as the lead creative agency to help launch its newest game, Marathon.

Kurppa Hosk helped craft an immersive, world-building campaign that bridged in-game experiences with real-world interactions - seamlessly integrating marketing, world-building and community engagement - to make audiences excited to be a part of the universe, even before the game went live.

The launch campaign kicked off with a high impact gameplay reveal in April 2025, amplified by a series of experiential and interactive activations as part of an ambitious ARG (Alternate Reality Game).

Other deliverables included the creation of fidelity graphics, worldbuilding iconography, faction brand identities, always-on social content and paid advertising driven by in-game capture, groundbreaking use of community platforms, innovative merchandise, and creator partnerships.

Kurppa Hosk is continuing the partnership with Bungie following launch, now working to deepen the player experience through another ARG which blends in-game activities with real world experiences.
