Description
In Italy, migration has become emotionally distant: years of overexposure and political polarization have turned it into background noise, putting support for organizations like Terre des Hommes, which protects vulnerable children including unaccompanied minors, at risk. We needed to break the numbness. So instead of talking about the issue, we made people feel it. We targeted parents searching for summer camps with an offer they couldn’t ignore: the same nightmare journey thousands of teenagers are forced to endure. Shock, fear and outrage followed, collapsing the distance between “our children” and “theirs”. What was distant became personal again, reigniting the national conversation and helping secure support for children when they need it most.
