Sometimes, the most meaningful gifts aren’t wrapped, they’re imagined. In Crayola’s holiday campaign, “Blue Christmas,” creativity becomes the heart of the season.

When Zoe discovers that her dog, Pickle, can’t see red and green, she reimagines the holidays in a color dogs can see — blue. With help from her parents, little brother, and a bin of Crayola supplies, Zoe transforms her home into a blue holiday wonderland—proving that the most memorable moments are made with love and color, especially for those who see the world a little differently.

This integrated campaign is a celebration of empathy, imagination, and the joy of creating together, reinforcing Crayola’s mission to inspire lifelong connection through creativity.

Developed in partnership with Dentsu Creative and dentsu X, the campaign will run beginning November 10 through December 21. Media placements are strategically shoppable featuring the 7 portfolio products featured in the holiday spot, featured across YouTube, TikTok, and streaming video as well as the Hallmark Channel during the weeks of November 24 and December 8.

"Blue Christmas" is the embodiment of Crayola's Campaign for Creativity – the brand’s advocacy initiative whose mission is to foster creativity and inspire more creative moments in the world. The piece reframes the holiday season through a surprising lens, inviting viewers to embrace creativity as a way to spark connection, fuel imagination, and shape traditions.
