Beats 360 ft. Kendall Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kendall Jenner
Agency: Uncommon Creative Studio
Description
Beats launches its new flagship over-ear headphone, Beats 360, with Kendall Jenner playing every character in a campaign built around the product’s customisable design. The headphones feature interchangeable ear cushions and headband cushions, allowing users to change colours and cushion types to suit different moods and styles.
In the ad, Jenner sits in a café called Kendalls and begins noticing different versions of herself everywhere she looks. From the barista and a woman on the phone to someone reading a book and even faces in the restaurant’s photographs, each Kendall wears a different Beats 360 configuration.
Soundtracked by Gary Numan & The Tubeway Army’s “Are Friends Electric?,” the spot introduces the tagline “One headphone. Every version of you.” Jenner’s various looks and headphone combinations reinforce the idea that the product can change along with its wearer.
The campaign closes on a simple message: Beats 360 adapts with you. By turning the headphone’s interchangeable components into a visual device, the film presents customisation as a way to express the different versions of yourself.
