Canva has launched its first large-scale brand campaign in Thailand, ‘Anyone Can with Canva’, positioning AI-powered video editing as an accessible tool for everyday creativity rather than a skill reserved for professional filmmakers or agencies. Created in partnership with acclaimed Thai filmmaker Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit, the campaign reflects the growing influence of short-form video across Southeast Asia and encourages a wider range of people to participate in visual storytelling.

The hero film takes place inside a chaotic advertising agency struggling through endless client revisions before an unlikely group of editors, including a delivery rider, security guard and cleaner, step in to transform the project using Canva’s video editing tools. With its humorous and distinctly local tone, the campaign embraces the idea that creativity can come from anyone, regardless of professional experience, and highlights how technology is lowering barriers to content creation.

A key element of the initiative is giving the public access to licensed footage from Thamrongrattanarit’s personal archive, allowing users to experiment with professional-quality material using Canva’s AI-powered editing tools and templates. The campaign also supports Canva’s broader growth strategy in Thailand, where the company has expanded its presence through partnerships such as its education initiative with the Office of the Basic Education Commission, helping bring Canva for Education to millions of students and teachers across the country.
