Six+One unveils Andy Cohen's personalized trash can in Hudson Square
Description
The New York City neighborhood of Hudson Square had some fun with Andy Cohen’s viral New Year’s Eve trash talk about former mayor Eric Adams. Partnering with creative agency Six+One, the Hudson Square Business Improvement District installed Andy Cohen’s Corner at Hudson and Vandam Streets—complete with a branded Bigbelly trash can, ceremonial ribbon-cutting, commemorative plaque, and a key to Hudson Square (that opens nothing). The playful streetscape nods to Cohen’s long tenure working in the neighborhood and showcases how the BID uses everyday infrastructure as a cultural canvas, responding to real-time moments with wit, timing, and unmistakably New York humor. The stunt quickly became a media moment, earning coverage across major New York and national publications and broadcast outlets.
