This women’s day, we asked women of Blusteak about an issue they face that deserves XL attention.

They told us how small or lack of pockets in women’s apparel creates a huge problem!

We decided to create “XL Pockets” to solve all these problems!

We created a brand named “XL Pockets” and launched a website where women can buy pocket extensions for sarees. This was done in collaboration with the students of the fashion department of St. Teresa’s College, Kochi.

This campaign is for all women forced to fit into society’s expectations, internalised misogyny, and opinions.

Most importantly, we made XL Pockets to make a statement that we need bigger pockets to fit in bigger paychecks, pepper sprays and safety equipment, and ensure that women’s pockets are not just decorative objects!
