Caught my eye. Good use of visual trickery. It's almost an optical illusion. At my agency we've been trying to figure out how this was done. Is it one photograph from a high angle in a huge grocery store or multiple photos composed in Photoshop. Regardless, it caught my eye and made a good point. Job done. Good work!!

It's multiple photos compiled in Photoshop, I think. The lighting is just too even across the board, and, in some small areas, the perspective has been heavily manipulated. It's obviously a lot of work.

it must be compiled for the simple reason no one could ever reach the top shelves...

Some interesting info about him, assuming he took this. But I'm guessing someone saw his work and decided to do an "homage".

Sorry I dont' get it. Maybe its a awesome picture but whats the message?
All in one pack. All these kinds of food are mixed in together and now we can buy this?
Mhmmm jammy... Cornflakes with beans and dill pickles

Guest
Guest's picture

The message is that there is a lot of nutrients in the product. Simple.

Guest
Guest's picture

but there's not only cereals or nutrients... there's coffee-filters, marmelade, sauce and everything else one would find in a food section. so the message ain't clear. it is even wrong. pasta ...äh basta.

You're looking way too much into things. As if the average consumer would take a magnifying glass to an ad.

Guest
Guest's picture

They would if they were trying to figure out what the heck this ad is trying to say.

I'm not sure how much resolution you can get from this jpeg, but I just dowloaded it and looked into the image and didn't find any definitive proof that there were coffee filters in the photo...only food stuffs. There are some packages might not be clear but they can easily be soup. The packages are in a soup aisle so it stands to reason. (Why would there be coffee filters in a soup aisle, anyway?)

Regardless the idea is still intact. Lots of nutrients in one product.

If someone has too much time on their hands and needs to examine every minute detail than that's called something else. Obsessive compulsive disorder.

however. the picture is from andreas gursky.
was only a question of time to see it in use like this.
but i think it's not bad. it's a clear thing!
