Did none of you even read the tagline:

"If only it was this easy to get over child abuse. For more than two million Australians, it isn't."

It isn't making light of the issue, it is simply saying "If only it was this easy to get over child abuse." using 'happy' imagery (i.e. that I have gotten over this awful thing).

Fuck. Think about it.
The ad won't change the world but there is nothing wrong with the creative concept - if you bothered to spend more than 1 fucking second thinking about it.

Despite what guest commenter says ( are you steve or dave?) this whole campaign is bad, it is meant to be shocking but it's actually funny.

The line is clumsy and complicated. A transparent case of pro bono work done just for awards - but it won't win any. Another average piece of work from whybins and gary horner's dept.

what is it with people always making snide jokes about 'guest commentators'... as if putting your name there makes some huge difference...

That 'whitefang' is somehow better than 'guest'... how?

What?

Really? Who are you? As anonymous as any 'guest'. That's what.

You're obviously an insider who knows all.

So come on and show us your proof that it was pro bono and only done for awards. Or shut up with the 'already said a million times by every other moron' put downs of anyone's creative work.

You wish you could even 'get' pro bono work.

So, typical of children.
If you don't understand it, make fun of it.

Clearly you clowns above did this work.

If you feel so passionate about it why don't you post under your own name instead of making it look like it's liked by other people?

White fang isn't my real name by the way - I was just pointing out the obvious - that defending your own work (that has been universally bagged on every site you posted it) under the guise of 'guest commenter' is more transparent that your granny's nighty.

I know it must be hard to have spent so much time on a campaign that you expected to be lauded and get shit canned for it - but that's life in the big city.
