Description

For the PRE-SAFE® precrash system from Mercedes-Benz, we made chaotic traffic intersections safer. Everybody was able to look around the corners into the streets as if the walls were transparent, and could therefore detect potential hazards in time to avoid them. To achieve this, we used a camera to film what was going on around the corner. The images were projected onto an 18/1-format billboard on a building corner so all motorists and cyclists could see them.

Brilliant idea... on paper. This only makes the streets more dangerous. Everybody is going to look at the projection and not at the street anymore. But what the hell, great casemovie! And nice glasses 1:22

Me don't likey. Kudos for making a nice resource useless.
The best way we can be pre-safe is by preventing the creation of dangerous situations...

A more cost-effective and usefull aproach could have been like a box with different colors,
maybe each color could have its own meaning, so cars and pedestrian could know when to stop or when to go,
we could call it Transtortation Light. OMG! this could be in every intersection. It's a trillion dollar idea.
BTW the guy playing soccer in the middle the street is an idiot, in case you didn't notice.

PS: Look both sides before publishing in ads of the world.
