I agree it's bad for the environment, but the product is not something the agency has a control over. You have to make the best out of what's given to you.

I'd be more shocked that a fossil fuel company was advertising for coal in this day and age. The medium, concept and especially copy I could all forget about in an instant. It's almost like the subject matters shock value is what makes you even care. And not in a good way.

Ok, then let me rephrase - lousy campaign. Regardless of the subject matter.

Of course, if you want to be another soulless advertising drone obsessed only with the work (and money, of course) and not the intent and consequences, be my guest. It's easier to shut your eyes and ears then take an active role in this world anyway, especially when you have a genuine opportunity to better it at a meaningful scale.

Obviously, you agree.

This site is here for the benefit of the industry and part of the industry is about responsible work. A critique of such work can cover more then the art direction and copy, it's about an idea and it's meaning.
