Which One Is Which?
The idea starts from a very Iraqi behavior: we can turn the simplest things into a debate.
“Is it Kalasher Rice? Or Rice Kalasher?”
We took this simple confusion and turned it into a conversation that travels from one person to another, building through word of mouth.
The film brings that debate into places where Iraqis naturally exchange opinions: the barbershop, the taxi, the street, and other familiar everyday settings. Everyone has an answer, everyone is convinced they’re right, and the conversation keeps growing.
Until Kalasher itself shows up.
Because in the end, it doesn’t matter which one is which. Kalasher Rice ends the debate.
