In Portugal, the abandonment of dogs is still a major issue, and dog shelters are full of them. These dogs have a major health problem: the lack of happiness. To help fighting this problem, AS, a Portuguese pet food, owned by one of the main supermarket chains in the country – Minipreço - wanted to create something meaningful, that could generate awareness for this terrible question. An idea that had nothing to do with selling product. It should be about the brand’s true motivation: the care for animal well-being.
