In April 2020, Due to the Covid Pandemic, the beer industry had to shut down their production and distribution operations in Mexico because alcoholic drinks weren’t considered and essential activity. However, Mexico is the first exporter and fourth producer of beer worldwide, which represents 650,000 jobs.
