One of the biggest contributors to the country’s air pollution is the staggering number of two-wheelers, 95% of which run on fossil fuel. Even though the most accessible solution is EV bikes, range anxiety holds people back. While India has over 104,000 EV car charging stations, electric two-wheelers cannot be charged at any of them due to incompatibility. Ultraviolette, an electric bike manufacturer from India, found a simple yet powerful fix to this huge problem – UV Lync. UV Lync is an innovative device that converts all Type-2 EV car charging points in India into three-pin EV bike charging sockets. EV bike owners can now use this revolutionary and compact Type-2 charging interface across any car charging station. With this product, Ultraviolette democratised the charging infrastructure, not just for their own customers but for the entire EV bike community.
