Unexplainable

Campaign for the New Baltic Dance festival. It's quite difficult to give a rational explanation for a modern dance performance - intense, unexpected emotional experience that expand a different perception of reality. When you don't try to explain or interpret and experience it with open senses, reality might become more exciting. Surprisingly, looking for an expression of this creative concept, an environment completely devoid of emotions was found. Artificial intelligence!

As an art director, AI is quite a difficult character, persistently proposing its own creative visions. There were many arguments between us. With the help of AI, fragments of everyday life and dance performances were transformed. These surreal images perfectly match the avant-garde atmosphere of New Baltic Dance events. Not necessarily pleasant, but evoking a whole range of emotions, from admiration to threat when observing something unexplainable.
