It is very common in Georgia that people adopt pets carelessly and treat them as an ordinary toy. Often it happens so that owners get bored from their pet or something changes in life and they think having pet is not reasonable anymore, as a result owners abandon their pets and often throw them on the street. As a result, the country is facing a problem it's not well equipped to solve. Due to ever-growing street dog population, Georgia's number one in the world when it comes to dog bite accidents. Many street dogs starve to death, others become victims of abuse while the rest are captured and put to death by the government services. The purpose of our poster is to urge potential pet owners to take the matter seriously and think before they decide to adopt a pet. Poster took 1st place in print contest of association of communication agencies in Georgia.
