Description
When the world's largest video game retailer noticed video ads were performing particularly well at bringing traffic to its stores, they teamed up with World Famous to create a new video-centric campaign that would speak to its core consumer.
The result is a brand campaign that centers and celebrates GameStop’s community. This includes gamers, campaigners, collectors, cosplayers and enthusiasts of all kinds, including snarky know-it-alls and blissfully ignorant newcomers. If you love what you love, you’re in. The campaign welcomes the tagline, “There’s a place for us.”
Each 15-second film is a unique vignette that heroes gaming culture with a distinct ‘IYKYK’ vibe and humor. The production leaned on an incredible cast of talent that included improvisation while on set.
