Description
The film takes us back to 1980s Egypt, when getting paid was a long, manual process.
We follow an accountant spending days counting cash, preparing salary envelopes, checking every amount, and handing them out one by one. A single mistake can mean a missing salary, the wrong amount, or money in the wrong envelope.
What should be a happy payday slowly turns into waiting, confusion, arguments, and wasted time.
Then comes the turning point.
Our hero leaves the company carrying his salary in a cash envelope. Through a seamless visual transition, we move from the 1980s to 2026.
The envelope becomes a smartphone.
And everything changes.
With dopay, salaries are managed digitally and paid securely and on time — without cash, envelopes, queues, or the endless manual work.
The film ends on a simple contrast:
Yesterday, payday took three days.
Today, it takes a moment.
THE THREE-DAY PAYDAY
