Description
Nigerians are very averse to damaged Naira notes and are reluctant to accept them in any form of cash-based transaction.
For International Women's Day 2022, we used a damaged Naira note as our key visual element to communicate the fact that the gender pay gap not only unfairly puts women at a financial disadvantage but also hurts the country's economy in the long run.
We did this by selecting Naira denominations with women and cutting them out of the note.
