The Lonely Generation

Agency: Brandhouse

Description

1 in 6 young people in Denmark feels lonely – often even when surrounded by others. For many, opening up about it feels too vulnerable or even shameful. That’s why Danish telco company Call me has partnered with Ventilen, a volunteer-based youth organization, to confront loneliness among young adults head-on with a heartfelt campaign.

The centerpiece of the campaign is a 150-second film that reveals how loneliness can persist even in social settings, aiming to break down stigma and nurture genuine connections. The narrative unfolds through a classic graduation speech with an unexpected twist, giving voice to the unspoken thoughts, feelings, and experiences that many young people keep to themselves. With this message, Call me continues its mission to spark real conversations, building on last year’s “Speaking of” campaign, which addressed loneliness among men.

The campaign aims to inspire change by encouraging people to speak up, reach out, and ultimately build deeper, more meaningful relationships—aligning with Call me’s belief that the strongest connection we have is the one we share with each other.

This professional campaign titled 'The Lonely Generation' was published in Denmark in April, 2025. It was created for the brand: Call me, by ad agency: Brandhouse. This Film medium campaign is related to the Other industry and contains 1 media asset. It was submitted 30 days ago.
