Description
Every September 7th, sneaker brands take over the conversation with new silhouettes, colorways and collaborations. KFC had one small problem: it doesn’t make sneakers. But it does have one of the most recognizable knots in the world — the Colonel’s black bow tie — which happens to look surprisingly similar to black shoelaces tied over a white sneaker. So, for Sneaker Day, KFC turned that iconic brand code into The Colonel Shoes, transforming any pair of white sneakers, from any brand, into a KFC sneaker using nothing more than black laces and the Colonel’s knot. Through Instagram’s Add Yours, people across Panama were invited to recreate the look with the sneakers they already owned and share their own pair of Colonel Shoes.
