Austin-based creative agency Bakery has a 5-year relationship with Diageo, spanning product innovation and brand. They’re now serving as a select agency for The Cocktail Collection, the company’s new line of premium pre-mixed cocktails.
While Tanqueray and Ketel One are household names, combining many of Diageo’s famous brands into a single collection is a new concept. The Cocktail Collection includes drinks mixed with Diageo’s best spirits, including a Tanqueray negroni, Ketel One cosmopolitan and espresso martini, and Bulleit Bourbon old fashioned and Manhattan.
The launch is supported by a new multimedia campaign that introduces consumers to the Cocktail Collection ahead of the holiday season. At its center is a 30-second spot, entitled “You’ve Got it Made,” that teaches consumers the secret to hosting a “spirited holiday party.” Step one: pour a glass from The Cocktail Collection. Step two: let the regifting begin. Then, You’ve Got it Made.
The campaign celebrates how The Cocktail Collection provides ready-made, bartender quality cocktails that mean less time prepping and more time with your guests, depicting memorable holiday experiences you’ll want to recreate.
Featuring sepia tones, grainy film-stock and a notable backing track, the spot leans into the sophistication of the premium pre-made cocktails, whether they’re being sipped at an Ugly Sweater Party or a Backyard Birthday celebration. The work will run across social, digital and OTT with additional :15- and :6-second spots to follow.
