Scott® Bath Looks to Remove the Anxiety of Bathroom Clogs with New Horror-Inspired Creative Short

The Kimberly-Clark brand is dedicated to helping solve toilet issues one roll of Scott® toilet paper at a time.

It’s no secret that clogging a toilet anywhere outside your own home is a nightmare, and trying to solve it discreetly is a downright horror show. In a new, social-first campaign, Scott® Bath captures the gut-wrenching experience of battling toilet clogs in front of an audience.

Taking a nod from classic horror-films and inspired by social conversations around clogging anxiety, Scott® Bath partnered with VaynerMedia on a 3-minute video short available on YouTube and social platforms that shows just how seriously the brand takes bathroom clogs. Opening up with an idyllic setting of a woman nervously meeting her prospective in-laws for the first time, the camera follows as Scott® 1000, a toilet paper made with clog-free technology, is accidentally left behind in the car. The consequences of that mistake have her leaving quite the first, and potentially final, impression.

Director Chioke Nassor took a very intentional and artful approach to the entire creative concept. From the setting to the buildup and pacing of the creative, you can palpably feel the actual nightmare experience, or maybe revisit your own personal horror moment, of what could happen if you do not use Scott® Bath products.

“We know clogging your own toilet is frustrating in itself, not to mention the added anxiety when it happens in public,” shares Ken Champa, U.S. Senior Marketing Director Household Care and Scott Bath at Kimberly-Clark, “To help prevent your bathroom from turning into a real-life horror movie, make sure you have plenty of Scott® 1000 which is trusted in flushability and value.”

Scott® Bath has been providing quality solutions for generations. Trusted in flushability and value, Scott® Bath provides confidence in each flush, allowing the only bathroom horror to take place on the screen, and not in your own toilet.
