Case film The Climate Women

Description

In the Dry Corridor of Nicaragua, climate change has made farming unpredictable. So, we created, The Climate Women: a community led climate alert system run by women farmers using simple tools. Low tech weather stations collect local data, which is processed and shared through WhatsApp and local radio. For the first time, women generate precise local forecasts for their own communities. By turning everyday technology into shared infrastructure, the project transforms climate uncertainty into actionable data, strengthening food security and resilience.
