Its national ad campaign, The Boy and the Bot, highlights how compassion and connection can bring hope and healing. This holiday season, Teleflora reminds us that each of us has the power to be someone’s wish come true, especially as more than 4,000 children face a life-changing diagnosis at this time of year.
The Boy and the Bot tells a tender story about the impact of kindness, seen through the bond between a young boy named Ben and a life-size robot that never leaves his side. They colour together, dance, decorate his hospital room and face difficult moments hand in hand. When the robot later removes its helmet, it is revealed to be Nurse Kelly, who has been comforting Ben all along. Inside the Teleflora bouquet on her desk is a note from Ben’s family thanking her for her extraordinary care. “At the heart of every wish are the everyday heroes whose compassion brings hope and healing,” said John Ludwig, vice president of marketing and e-commerce at Teleflora. “Through this partnership with Make-A-Wish, we are proud that everyone has the opportunity to make someone's wish come true this holiday season.”
