Sickle Cell Campaign

Sickle Cell Disease affects millions of people worldwide, yet much of its burden remains invisible.

The pain, fatigue, uncertainty and daily challenges often go unnoticed by the world around them.

To highlight this reality, we created "The Shadows They Carry" — a series of minimalist visual metaphors that reveal what isn't immediately seen.
Each execution begins with something ordinary: a child, a chair, a dream, a moment from everyday life.

But their shadows tell a different story.
A shadow becomes a sickle cell.
A journey is interrupted.
A childhood carries more than it should.

By transforming invisible struggles into visible shadows, the campaign invites viewers to look beyond appearances and recognize the resilience of those living with Sickle Cell Disease every day.

Because some of the heaviest burdens are the ones no one can see.
