Score4Rights is an international campaign launched during Olympic Games in Beijing 2022 to address China’s human rights violations. The campaign used Olympics as a channel to raise awareness and show solidarity with the victims of rights violations. It invited athletes and activists to raise a symbolic salute making a C-shape representing hope and change for the good of humanity. The campaign initiated a peaceful conversation about China’s take on human rights.
The campaign successfully got trending on Twitter and it was covered by different trustful media channels. The Guardian, CBC News, de Volkskrant, and VOA Chinese featured the Score4Rights campaign and shed a spotlight on its message.
