Turkey is no 1 in plastic waste in Europe and the consumption of single-use plastic increased with the pandemic. People do not really know how long it takes for plastic to perish. Greenpeace started a campaign to raise awareness on the issue. Two radio spots were produced explaining how long it takes for a straw and a plastic cup takes to dissolve in nature.
