This year with the health of residents and tourists being the priority for NOLA, the festivities have officially been cancelled, and while that definitely puts a damper on celebrations it also puts economic strains on the city of NOLA for businesses and individuals with work tied to the celebrations. Everyone from Mardi Gras float artists, designers, builders, sculptors and drivers are feeling the impact of this year’s cancellation.
So Popeyes has hired out-of-work Mardi Gras artists in NOLA to transform its restaurants into Mardi Gras floats.
