Ice hockey is a worshipped sport in Czechia with the IIHF World Women's Championship being the most watched occasion of the year. After more than 30 years as an official World Cup sponsor, Škoda Auto has taken a new step this year – starting the collaboration with the Czech women’s national hockey team.
To mark this milestone and to celebrate the IIHF World Women's Championship being played in Czechia for the very first time, we have created the first-ever table hockey with female players in collaboration with Škoda Auto and STIGA, a brand known worldwide for its iconic table hockey games.
With 3D-printed female players, the aim was clear: to show that girls can play hockey too.Table hockey was displayed in the official fan zone at the stadiums and was available for visitors to play. The game was a part of a broader campaign portraying female players as superheroes, including TVC, digital, and OOH.
