The sex ratio of newborns in Azerbaijan is 114 boys per 100 girls. Our country comes in a close second after China according to the statistics of abortions based on gender discrimination. To create awareness about this serious problem, we create a Missing Girls campaign with the support of Azerbaijan’s leading bank, Kapital Bank and UNFPA Azerbaijan.
We want to show the fact that we don’t want to lose our loved ones, girls and we want to touch people’s mind and soul emotionally within our posters. Also we supported the campaign with www.itirdiyimizqizlar.az site.
Now, let’s say NO to sex-selective abortions!
