Lightspeed - Bye Bye version
Bell, in collaboration with LG2, has released a new commercial demonstrating the speed of its Pure Fibre internet. Called “Lightspeed”, the spot features a sleek spaceship, a symbol of unparalleled speed, in Bell’s trademark blue colour. A competing ship tries to keep up but when it comes to the power of cable versus the power of fibre optics, it’s obvious who will move at the speed of light.
The nationwide campaign includes both 30-second and 15-second spots in English and French with the colours of the slow ship changing to reflect the major competitor in each market.
The campaign ran on television, digital and social media starting December 20, 2023. A special holiday version with the bridge decked out in tinsel and lights aired exclusively from December 31 to January 2 for Bye Bye de la pub, Radio-Canada's annual New Year's Eve advertising competition.
