We know human trafficking is an ongoing crisis of huge proportions. According to the ILO, over 40 million people are in modern slavery right now. Young girls are among the most vulnerable, making up an estimated 17% of total victims. We’re in the dark about who the active traffickers are and where they will strike next. Without more specific information, all we know for sure is that it will continue.
This film tells the story of the hypothetical next victim, inevitable unless we can learn more about what is happening in the shadows. Research and investigation are important, but information from the general public could be decisive.
