Life Thread Portraits

Agency: InPress Porter Novelli

Johnson & Johnson released the world's first work of art made with sutures to draw society's attention to the importance of medicine and technology in our lives. The Ukrainian artist Zen Palagniuk, one of the biggest string art names in the world, created 2 pieces that were exhibited at the Latin American Forum: the biggest event in the medical sector in Latin America, held in Miami. The paintings immortalized the trajectory of the Brazilian journalist Paula Bastos, who changed her life after bariatric surgery, and the Argentine baby Tomás, who was saved thanks to a surgery performed in his mother's womb.
