Ireland is the puppy farming capital of Europe. Every year thousands of dogs are consigned to a life sentence trapped in commercial sheds – and every year their puppies are bred, sold, and trafficked every year for huge profits... all because the current laws are too lenient to deter abusers. This year's Christmas campaign for Dogs Trust Ireland is looking to disrupt the endless cycle of cruelty by calling for harsher punishments for puppy farmers.
