Autodesk

Let there be anything

Agency: Giant Spoon

Description

Directed by Jay Walker, the ad was created by an all-female creative team--director, executive producer, editor, and colorist--a rarity in the industry, as you know. Disney and Hulu are also beginning to air the spot on the new season of Only Murders in the Building. Developed with our creative agency Giant Spoon, the spot is a journey through the design and maker process, inspired by three of Autodesk’s customers.

The spot comes on the heels of Autodesk’s strong financial results for Q2 fiscal ’26, delivering better-than-expected revenue (up 17.1% YoY), margins, and free cash flow, and raising full-year guidance across the board. As you can read in their release, part of that momentum comes from sales through its online Autodesk Store, which our CMO Dara Treseder runs for the company. Since joining Autodesk, Dara has focused on improving the Autodesk Store experience with AI and personalization, while also driving new traffic by elevating the Autodesk brand through standout creative. It’s a bold, differentiated approach for a B2B technology company, and one that continues to prove fruitful for the business.

The "Makers" ad is a continuation of this strategy, underscoring the value of brand and creative at a moment when the industry is debating both.
