The RISE Dispensary brand was in need of brand reinvigoration as we approached our 10 year anniversary—an ownable identity & brand positioning to solidify RISE as a leader in the ever evolving cannabis industry. The RISE brand needed to adapt along with the industry itself and to be reflective of the commitment we have made to our community-based roots and socially inspired mission to improve the cannabis industry for the better..
To embrace cannabis' potential for positive change, the new RISE brand logo is our crest: a bird of optimism, rising to upwards to a new day. A strong, limited color palette inspired by the cannabis plant—Leaf - the dark green of our plants' leaves, Kief - the vibrant trichomes, Light (white) - which every plant needs to thrive, and Resin Red - to accent the brand world, just like the 'stigmas' (pistils) of the plant—keeps all the brand's imagery cohesive.
Unique, localized illustrations done in a screenprint-esque style juxtaposed with bright, sunlit, optimistic photography fill out the brand world. These thematic elements are paired with a provocative, knowledgeable tone to establish our role in fighting for cannabis rights and access through all available channels(e.g., retail, digital, social, print, etc.), ensuring consumers & patients can feel empowered to 'RISE' above the stigma and hypocrisy surrounding cannabis.
