Last To Leave is a print campaign built on a simple social truth: the best girls’ nights are the ones you never want to end.
Instead of showing the girls’ night itself, Bernini chose to show the people waiting for it to be over. Across three static print executions, we see restaurants at closing time. Chairs are stacked. Lights are dimmed. Staff wait around, tired and ready to go home. But one table has not left.
We never see the women at the table. We do not need to. Their presence is felt through the setting, the body language of the staff and the quiet tension of a night that has gone on too long.
Each execution is anchored by the line: ‘Not everyone loves girls’ night.’
