Description
Meningitis B is a fatal disease, especially dangerous for children. To encourage parents to learn more about the disease, we created a unique, handcrafted doll – with a tranquil face, but no hands. She reflects more than 50 faces of different children. The doll represents a young survivor of Meningitis B whose body bears marks left by the disease. The main message: “It’s just a doll. Imagine if the infection harmed a child.” The doll became a recognized figure and a reason for discussion about the disease.
