The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) estimates that as many as 212 million people, or half of all adults currently living with diabetes, are undiagnosed. Most of these have type 2 diabetes.
For this year’s World Diabetes Day, our idea is to use body organs made to look like candy to show how type 2 diabetes can be a latent ailment that can go undetected until it starts actively causing problems.
